Covington, KY – Covington Partners will host a training event for out-of-school time professionals throughout Kentucky, Ohio and Indiana on March 19 and 20 in Covington. Extending Excellence will be an interactive training where participants will learn how to extend excellence beyond the school day. Participants will hear from out-of-school time program practitioners on how to connect with school-day staff and community partners, collaborate on best-practice strategies to improve student achievement, as well as learn how to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement and sustainability.

“We are thrilled to bring out-of-school time professionals to our wonderful city to learn how they can connect, cultivate and collaborate to improve outcomes for students in their own community,” said Stacie Strotman, Executive Director of Covington Partners. 

Ms. Strotman, along with other Covington Partners staff members, will lead participants through topics such as; Aligning Your Work to the School Day, Connecting Data to Outcomes, Creating Effective Partnerships and Telling Your Story.

Extending Excellence will be hosted at the offices of meetNKY at RiverCenter on March 19 and 20, 2018.  There is a $250 per site (up to two people) fee to participate.  Those interested are encourage to register early because space is limited.
